Magnesium: Sleep & Menopause

1. Magnesium for Sleep

Struggling to sleep and waking a lot in the night?

We love a hot bath before bed with Epsom salts which are high in magnesium or magnesium flakes. You need to bathe with your salts for at least 20 minutes to get the benefits of them. Pair that with some relaxing scents in a bath oil or bath truffles, that help you sleep, like lavender, for an extra boost.

2. Magnesium for Menopause

Why is magnesium good for menopause?

🌸 It improves your sleep: Broken sleep caused by night sweats means you’ll need all the help you can get to sleep well. Taking a bath with Epsom salts which are high in magnesium or magnesium flakes is a great way to help. Pair that with some relaxing scents that help you sleep, like lavender, for an extra boost.

🌸 It is good for muscle cramps and restless legs: Include a body cream rich in magnesium to help this.

🌸 It is a mood booster: Keeping your magnesium levels high can help with your mood.

🌸 It supports heart and bone health

You can get magnesium through your diet and topically via body creams and bath salts. If your magnesium levels are still low, you can also take magnesium supplements. (If you need advice on nutrition and supplements speak to @body_fabulous )

Want to add Epsom or magnesium baths to your self care? We stock the sea magik range at the spas.
